Physical Activity

Physical Activity

Movement is medicine. Physical activity boosts energy, reduces stress, improves heart health, and helps manage weight and blood sugar. You don't need a gym or fancy equipment, just a commitment to keep your body moving. Swimming, pickleball, dancing, walking, and more.

Every step, stretch, or squat is an investment in your future. See the Non-Moving Strength Exercise Videos for simple things you can do in your own home. These combined with walking is an easy win. To be safe, if you are a man over 40 or woman over 50, and have not been exercising, talk with a doctor before beginning.

Better than online groups are local groups. Developing supportive relationships while having fun exercising, benefits you at multiple levels.
